"Fall Frolic"

Raising my eyes
From the beaten path
To the kaleidoscopic sky,
My heart enters into
The celebration in progress.

Candy-colored confetti--
Licorice, candy corn, chocolate, and lemon drop--
Swirls 'round me.
Flutter, flip
Twirl, twist
Spiral, spin

A sudden ticker-tape parade participant,
My heart joins the procession,
In a whirlwind of exuberance,
Exalting the One
From Whom all blessings flow.
